BOD Elections are coming up!

 

We are announcing the upcoming elections to fill two openings for Board Of Directors (1-year term). Nadya Nemova-Tatsch (President), and Steve Mangum (Treasurer) have fulfilled their terms of leadership, which will expire at the end of January, 2016. They are grateful for the opportunity. 

New election will take place in mid-January, 2016 and new terms will start February 1st, 2016.

Our mission is to promote and build appreciation of the Slavic, Eastern European, and Central Asian cultures in the DFW area through cultural events and education.

* Because the International Art Exhibit “I Am Thankful For…” is not a cultural or educational event within the guidelines of the EADFW’s mission statement, it will continue as a separate independent organization with its own leadership.

 

Responsibilities of the President:

• Developes an annual plan for putting cultural events

• Creates and lead teams

• Coordinates with Treasurer and Secretary

• Actively promotes the organization

 

Responsibilities of the Treasurer:

• Creates and leads budgets

• Coordinates funds
