Festival of Nations
 

Russian Festival of Nations was presented by the Eurasian Association of DFW on July 20, 2013 at the William T. Cozby Public Library in Coppell.

The festival hosted a variety of activities for families including a Russian style puppet show, photo opportunities to pose with people wearing traditional Russian clothing and arts and crafts for children.

Loved being a part of this wonderful event! Felt myself as at home. Met so many nice people, there were many Russian couples who I haven't known before. Everyone was having a great time - eating our traditional dishes, speaking in Russian language, learning about culture and history. It was interesting for everyone - for Russians and many other nationalities who visited this festival! Looking forward to the next one! Thanks to organizers who made this event happen!

Я отлично провела время на фестивале, так же как и другие гости. Я встретила много интересный людей, приятно пообщалась с соотечественниками и с "иностранными" гостями, кто пришел узнать о России. Как приятно, что нашей культурой интересуется столько людей в Далласе! Как сказали нам работники библиотеки, посещаемость нашего фестиваля побила все рекорды, пришло больше людей, чем когда-либо!

Огромное спасибо организаторам фестиваля, особенно Nadya Nemova Tatsch и Alyona Stevens. Много радости, веселья,
улыбок и просто дружеская, радушная атмосфера. Это как кусочек Родины, которой нам всем так не хватает. Для многих гостей это было первое и незабываемое знакомство с русской культурой. Я думаю что каждый из нас получил много положительных эмоций, заряд энергии и бесконечно теплые воспоминания. А так же огромное спасибо за то, что дали мне возможность побыть Хозяйкой Медной Горы, героиней одной из моих любимых сказок. С нетерпением жду новых встреч.

Huge thank you to the festival organziers - especially Nadya Nemova Tatsch and Alyona Stevens. There was lots of happiness, fun, smiles and simply friendly and joyful atmosphere. This is like a little piece of home that we all miss so much. For many guests this was the first and unforgettable meeting with the Russian culture. I think that each and every one of us experienced many positive emotions, a charge of energy and warm memories. Also a big thank you for letting me be the Hostess of Brass Mountain (Russian Folk Tale character), personage from one of my favorite tales. I eagerly await new meetings.
